Port Throughput Near 13m Tons

Some 12.93 million tons of goods were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports during the third month of the current fiscal year (May 22-June 21), registering a 1.5% increase compared with the corresponding period of last year, Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture reported, citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran’s data.

Container loading and unloading during the one-month period amounted to 274,000 TEUs, up 28.6% from last year’s 213,000 TEUs.
