Close to 222 tons of onions and shallots worth nearly 142 billion rials (more than $3.75 million) were exported during the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21-April 20), the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration announced.
Pakistan, Afghanistan, the UAE, Iraq, Turkmenistan, the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Kuwait were the main export destinations of these Iranian products over the one-month period, Young Journalists Club reported.
