About 1.35 million tons of commodities worth close to $490 million were exported from the western Kermanshah Province during the three months to June 21, 2017, director general of Kermanshah Customs Administration, Khalil Heidari, said.

The exports witnessed a 5% and 9% year-on-year growth in value and volume respectively, IRNA reported.

"Home appliances, plastic products, melamine dishes, fresh/frozen tomato, cement, milk, cream, polished stones and evaporative coolers were the main commodities exported from the province to 23 countries," he said.

Kermanshah shares 371 kilometers of borders with Iraq. The province has six official and active border markets and accounts for half of Iran’s non-oil exports to the western neighbor.
