Iran exported some $30 million worth of commodities to Somalia in the last Iranian year that ended on March 20, 2017, registering a 38% increase compared with the year before, Trade Promotion Organization of Iran's Arabic-African Affairs Office said.
The exports mainly included white Portland and hydraulic cement, polyvinyl chloride, biscuit, semi-prepared dough, tile and ceramics, bitumen, chocolate, pharmaceuticals and cast iron dishes, fizzy drinks, polypropylene and ampicillin trihydrate, IRNA reported.
Iran had no imports from Somalia during the one-year period.
