The government is trying to make decisions about bread and wheat prices in a way that the people don’t suffer, said the vice president. Mohammad Shariatmadari reiterated that the decision to raise prices will be good for people, as it was when the government cut the subsidies on flour and bread a few years ago, which increased the quality of the product. The VP added that 30 months of unchanged prices have created numerous problems for the bakers as well as those in the flour and wheat industries.
