Ports Capacity to Rise

Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Saeednejad said plans are underway to increase the capacity of Iranian ports to 250 million tons per annum in the next four years. Ports capacity improved to 210 million tons in the last Iranian year (March 2016-17) from 180 million in the fiscal 2013-14, thanks to the efforts made by President Hassan Rouhani’s administration, IRNA quoted Saeednejad as saying.
