Iran and Venezuela plan to expand economic relations, according to Mohammadreza Nematzadeh, minister of Industry, mine, and trade. The minister said in a meeting with the visiting Venezuelan Finance Minister Rodolfo Marco Torres on Tuesday that bilateral relations will be further boosted as both sides are trying to eliminate trade obstacles, Fars news agency reported. Iran seeks to minimize the impact of anti-Iran economic sanctions, he added. The two sides also exchanged views over providing Venezuela with Iranian-made goods. An Iranian delegation is set to visit Venezuela in the near future.
