Iran Ranks 2nd in Global Innovation Index in Central, Southern Asia

Iran, with a score of 32.09 out of 100, ranks 75th among 127 countries listed in the World Intellectual Property Organization’s latest Global Innovation Index report published on the WIPO website. In a section on regional innovation leaders, Iran was placed second after India in the Central and Southern Asia region.Published annually since 2007, GII is now a leading benchmarking tool for business executives, policymakers and others seeking insight into the state of innovation around the world. Policymakers, business leaders and other stakeholders use GII to evaluate progress on a continual basis.
