Head of the Trade Promotion Organization Valiollah Afkhamirad called on Tuesday for the expansion of Tehran-Berlin bilateral ties, saying that the Geneva nuclear deal, reached between Iran and the P5+1 last year, has led to a new chapter for both countries to expand their relations. Iran and Germany have a long history of commercial exchange, and the ground is currently prepared for the trade of products like grains and pistachio, he said in a meeting with a visiting German delegation which seeks to explore new avenues of trade and investment in Iran. Afkhamirad said Iran’s market is an opportunity for German businesspeople to seize.
