Iran exported 147,000 tons of tomato paste worth $203 million during the last Iranian year (March 2016-17), up by 1% and 24.5% in value and volume respectively compared with the year before, Trade Promotion Organization of Iran reported.
Iraq was the biggest market as the neighboring country alone imported $125.6 million worth of Iranian tomato paste during the period, followed by Afghanistan ($59.1 million), Russia ($5.4 million), the UAE ($5.4 million) and Kuwait ($1.1 million).
