Trade With China Up 49%

Trade between Iran and China stood at $12.1 billion during the first four months of 2017, up from $8.1 billion in the corresponding period of 2016, registering an increase of over 49%, the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China said.

Iran exported about 6.4 billion worth of goods to China over the period and its imports reached $5.7 billion, indicating a 70% and 30% year-on-year growth respectively, Eranico reported.

The figures indicate that bilateral trade during the four months registered a $700 million surplus in favor of Iran.
