More than 14,880 tons of goods were loaded and unloaded at Abadan Port in the southwestern Khuzestan Province in the last Iranian year (March 2016-17), registering a 3.4% rise compared to the year before, the managing director of Abadan Ports and Maritime Organization said. “Latest data pertaining to the two-month period between March 21 and May 21 show a 27.8% decrease and a 6.4% increase in imports and exports to and from the port,” IRNA quoted Reza Safari as saying.
