The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration has operationalized the pre-arrival value declaration system for imports.
The new regulation requires traders to supply customs officials with advance information about the goods brought into the country by recording the information on epl.irica.ir/TscViewPage.
It will enable authorities to calculate the value and set the import tariffs of the items before their arrival.
As part of the electronic customs services, the pre-arrival value declaration will provide for quicker process and ease of trade, IRICA reported.
