Tehran to Host Syrian Delegation

Heading a politico-economic delegation, Syrian Minister of Industry Ahmad al-Hamou will pay a visit to Iran in late May, an official with the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran said. “The visiting delegation will be heading to Tehran with the aim of becoming familiar with our production capabilities and negotiating the supply of their requested goods from Iran,” Farzad Piltan was also quoted as saying by IRNA. According to the latest figures released by TPO, Iran exported close to $105.5 million worth of goods to Syria over the seven months to October 21 and imported goods worth $5.2 million in return.
