Tehran to Host Int’l Food, Beverage Expo

Organized by the German trade show specialist fairtrade in cooperation with their Iranian partners Palar Samaneh, Iran’s 24th International Food, Beverage and Hospitality Trade Fair is scheduled for May 23 to 26 at the Tehran International Fairground.

Thousands of new products are to be presented by exhibitors from Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, South Korea, Lithuania, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and the UAE, Indian news and media portal PolymerUpdate reported.

The so-called “Iran Food+Hospitality 2017” is a major meeting point for professional food traders showcasing specialties in bread and bakery, dairy, drinks, fresh and chilled food, frozen food, general foods, health food, hot beverages, ice cream and deep-frozen confectionery, meat and meat products, organic food, snack food and sweets.

The report noted that Iran is opening up, hundreds of new hotels and thousands of restaurants are to be built or modernized, and business and tourist travel is set to explode. There are excellent trade opportunities for manufacturers and distributors of foodservice equipment.

Held concurrently with the above event and organized by the same parties, more than 1,400 exhibitors from 39 countries are expected to participate in “Iran Agrofood 2017” at the same venue.
