Researchers to Receive Grants by June

Researchers other than university faculty members will be awarded educational grants as of June this year, Rasoul Zare’, an official with Agricultural Research Center has announced, noting that in the past, such grants were only offered to researchers who were faculty members. About 15 billion rials ($400,000) were granted to researchers in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2017). “Though insignificant, it could meet the basic needs of researchers without requiring them to go through administrative bureaucracy,” Zare’ was quoted as saying by IRNA.
