According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, 1,586 tons of bags and luggage worth $5.43 million were imported into the country in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2017).
Germany, the UAE, the UK, Taiwan, Turkey, China, Switzerland, France, Georgia, Japan, Norway and Austria were the major exporters of bags and luggage to Iran.
China had the largest share with 1,125 tons valued at $4 million, Mizan Online News Agency, affiliated to the Iranian Judiciary, reported.
