Seafood, Dates Exports From Bushehr

Some 33,000 tons of seafood worth $148 million and 25,000 tons of dates worth $30 million are exported from Bushehr Province every year, an official with Bushehr Agricultural Jihad Organization said.

“Our seafood, including farmed shrimp, eel, squid and cutlassfish, are exported to China, Vietnam, Thailand, the UAE, Oman, Russia and Malaysia. Dates are mainly exported to Russia and Ukraine, as well as Central Asian and Arab states,” he was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
