65% Rise in  Iran-Ireland Trade
65% Rise in  Iran-Ireland Trade

Trade between Iran and Ireland saw a 65% rise in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2017) to reach €80 million compared to the previous year. According to Iran’s Ambassador to Dublin Javad Kachooeian, Ireland’s exports to Iran include medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, food, raw materials of carbonated drinks, chemicals and industrial machinery. The envoy announced that top Irish government officials, including Minister of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O’Connor, are going to visit Iran at the invitation of Iran’s Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh in the not-too-distant future, IRNA reported.
