Close to 3.75 million tons of goods worth $878 million were exported through land and water borders of Khorramshahr and Shalamcheh customs offices located in Khuzestan Province and bordering Iraq in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2017).

The exports mainly included construction material, cement, stone and stone powder, fruit, vegetables and fodder, IRNA reported.

Imports via the two border terminals amounted to $862 million during the same period.

The imports mainly included fabric, washing machines, glassware, bolts and screws, kitchenware, road construction machinery and auto parts.
