Reforms must be made to Iran’s rail industries that have plunged into recession in recent years, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, the minister of mine, industry and trade, said on Saturday. He added that the urban rail fleet needs to be renovated. “Mismanagement in rail industries has to be stemmed and reformed.” He said that the problems facing the rail industries have to be addressed with “much stronger and more cohesive effort.”
