The export of IT-related services rose by 60% during the first eight months of the current Iranian year, compared with the same period last year, Valiollah Afkhamirad, head of Trade Promotion Organization, said on Saturday. The revenue earned from engineering services’ exports decreased by 60%, while tourism industry recorded nearly 50% increase in revenue over the period, he noted. He added that Iran’s total revenue from the export of different commodities reached $31.5 billion in the first eight months of the current year, registering 19.7% increase compared with the same period last year.
