Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration Masoud Karbasian and his Armenian counterpart, Vardan Harutyunyan, signed a bilateral customs information exchange protocol in Tehran on Saturday. The agreement, which will take effect in 15 days, is aimed at boosting trade between the two countries by providing mutual access to parties’ databases on a quarterly and yearly basis as per their national laws, IRICA reported. The signing of this protocol was preceded by President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to the neighboring country in December.
