Some $3.5 billion worth of foreign direct investments have been made in Isfahan Province since President Hassan Rouhani took office in August 2013.

Most of the investments have been made after the January 2016 implementation of the nuclear deal Iran signed with world powers in 2015, IRNA reported.

Foreign economic players have invested in Isfahan's water, renewable energy, health, techno-engineering services, steel, refinery, tourism and industrial projects, to name a few.
