Limited access to financing is one major problem Iranian industries are facing, Mohammad Ali Seyed-Abrisham, managing director of Iran’s Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO), said on Friday. “To get revitalized, industries need to be financed by commercial banks,” he was quoted by IRNA as saying. “We have on several occasions asked the CBI to provide industrial units with 10 trillion rials in loans to save current jobs, but to no avail,” he said, noting that the loans have in recent years mainly been granted to non-industrial individuals or firms.
