Some 23 trillion rials ($612 million) worth of investments have been made in Mazandaran Province’s industrial projects since President Hassan Rouhani took office in August 2013, the planning and investment deputy of Mazandaran Industries, Mining and Trade Organization said.
“More than 830 production units have been set up during the period, which created 41,830 jobs,” Jahangir Ba’ei Lashaki was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
Located in northern Iran, Mazandaran has 3,400 industrial and production units that employ 80,000 people.
