More than 3.25 million tons of products worth $1.28 billion were exported to the Iraqi Kurdestan from Iran’s border city of Qasr-e Shirin located in the western Kermanshah Province in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2017), according to Faramarz Akbari, the governor of Qasr-e Shirin.

“Of all the products exported, 510,000 tons worth $65 million were exported via Khosravi border terminal and 2.74 million tons worth $963 million were exported via Parvizkhan border terminal,” IRNA quoted Akbari as saying.

The exported products mainly included grey Portland cement, cake and biscuit, evaporative cooler, tomatoes and tomato paste, watermelon, dairy products, fruit and vegetable.
