China was Iran’s biggest trading partner in the last Iranian year (March 2016-17). The East Asian country exported $10.75 billion and imported $8.37 billion worth of goods last year to remain Iran’s top export destination as well as its biggest customer during the 12-month period, according to the latest report released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
