Tehran Province generated 290.89 trillion rials ($7.65 billion) in public revenues in the 11 months of the past Iranian year (March 20, 2016-February 18, 2017), registering an 18.5% rise compared with the similar period of a year before, the director general of Economic Affairs and Finance Office of the province said.
“Direct and indirect taxation constituted 153.41 billion rials ($4.03 billion) and 123.3 billion rials ($3.24 billion) of the revenues respectively and the rest came from other sources,” Allah-Mohammad Aqaie was also quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency.
Aqaie noted that the province’s public income is estimated to stand at 382.76 billion rials ($10.07 billion) last year.
