The Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines has signed a memorandum of understanding with two Japanese port and logistics services in Singapore.
IRISL’s website reported on Tuesday that the MoU was signed between IRISL and Japanese logistic corporations of SUZUE and KAMIGUMI in Singapore. It was a follow-up to recent negotiations of IRISL director and head of the board, Mohammad Saeedi, with the aforementioned parties.
Based on the content of this agreement, SUZUE and KAMIGUMI will assess the grounds of collaboration with Iranian parties for constructing dry ports as well as investment in Iran’s port terminals. The collaboration will become operational once the initial studies are completed and the contracts are signed.
