Iron and Steel Society of Iran is organizing its 20th International Steel Exhibition in the city of Tabriz in East Azarbaijan Province from February 28 to March 1. Over 156 local companies and 70 foreign firms from Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, India and Turkey are slated to attend the event, alongside members of the academia and industry researchers, according to secretary of Iron and Steel Society of Iran, Ali Shafiei. “By holding the expo, we intend to connect the academia, industry managers and market players to address the industry’s shortcomings and showcase the latest developments in the sector,” he was quoted as saying by IRNA.
