Isfahan Province exported 2.6 million tons of goods worth around $1.1 billion during the 11 months of the current Iranian year (started March 20, 2016), Isfahan Customs Administration’s Director General Asadollah Ahmadi Vanhari said. The main exports included iron and steel, petroleum products, carpet, iron and steel products, dairy products, stone, cement and plastic. Iraq and Afghanistan were the main customers of products made in Isfahan, as the central Iranian province exported $400 million and $183 million worth of goods to these two countries respectively over the period, the Persian daily Shorou reported.
