Iran exported 10 million tons of cargo by rail during the 11 months to February 18, 2017, registering a 55% upsurge compared with last year’s corresponding period, the director of Transit Committee at Islamic Republic of Iran Railways said.
“The main exported commodities were cement, iron ore, coal and tile,” Hossein Ashouri was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
“Cement, which constituted the bulk of our exports, was shipped to Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Turkey.”
