US President Donald Trump’s recent travel ban applies to all Iranians, including traders, said the head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, Masoud Khansari.
“No ban on trade with Iran has been introduced by the American government, though,” he was quoted as saying by Bourse Press.
On Friday, Trump signed an executive order banning Syrian refugees and citizens from Iran and six other Muslim-majority nations from entering the US.
The order includes the suspension of US visas for citizens of these nations for 90 days and of the US refugee program for 120 days. The ban applies to green card holders of these countries as well.
