In a bid to manage demand and supply, the government will buy the surplus amount of domestically produced raw milk, the agriculture minister Mahmoud Hojjati told IRNA yesterday. The administration has already started the guaranteed purchase of raw milk at the price of 14,400 rials, the minister said. The purchased milk will be stored and will then be used to produce powdered milk, he added.
