The 14th Trans Middle East 2017 Exhibition and Conference opened in Tehran on Tuesday. Officials, including Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi and Managing Director of Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran Mohammad Saeednejad, attended the opening ceremony. Thirty top speakers are scheduled to address issues and challenges related to global transportation and logistics during the two-day event, which is attended by the region’s leading shippers, cargo owners, importers/exporters, shipping lines, freight forwarders, logistics companies, ports, terminal operating companies, railroad operators, port equipment and services suppliers, Transportevents.com reported.
