An Iranian exhibition opened in Oman on Monday under the patronage of Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidy and in the presence of Iranian Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh.

The third edition of the exhibition is organized by Oman Expo in collaboration with the Iranian Embassy in Oman.

The five-day event is aimed at boosting commerce between Oman and Iran, facilitating the development of business and investment prospects, and strengthening economic relations between the two countries, Oman Daily Observer reported.

The exhibition is a platform for more than 100 Iranian companies to showcase high-quality products to new and developing markets in Oman.

It is also a venue for small- and medium-sized enterprises, manufacturers and distributors who are seeking to increase business prospects and expand their businesses.

B2B meetings will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition between businessmen from both countries to look for agents for Iranian products, in addition to striking trade deals.
