Close to 4.33 million tons of agro products worth nearly $4.13 billion were exported from Iran during the nine months to December 20, registering a 5.3% increase in value, the deputy agriculture minister for horticultural affairs said.
"Iran's trade balance [in the agriculture sector] up to December 20 stood at minus $2.32 billion, which shows a $305 million improvement compared with the corresponding period of last year," Mohammad Ali Tahmasebi was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
