The new members of Iranian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce were elected on Tuesday.

Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, Gholamhossein Shafei; head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, Masoud Khansari; head of Iran Export Confederation, Mohammad Lahouti; head of Iran Mercantile Exchange, Hamed Soltani-Nejad, chief executive of Razi Insurance Company, Younes Mazloumi; managing director of Bank of Industry and Mine, Ali-Ashraf Afkhami; ICCIMA’s vice chairman and secretary-general, Mohammad Mehdi Behkish and Treasurer Seyyed Hossein Salimi are new members of the committee.

Founded in Paris in 1919, ICC is a world business organization, a representative body that speaks with authority on behalf of enterprises from all sectors globally.

Today, it has hundreds of thousands of member companies and associations in over 120 countries. National committees shape ICC policies and inform their governments about international business concerns.
