The inflation rate for the eighth month of the Iranian calendar, Aban, which ended on November 21, dropped 1.3 percentage point, to reach 17.8 percent from 19.1 percent in the previous month, which ended October 22, Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, the vice president for planning and strategic supervision said on Tuesday. According to IRNA, The year-on-year inflation rate in Aban stood at 13.2 percent, down from 14.2 percent a month before, the official said.
