A memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation was signed between the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and the International Trade Center on the sidelines of 11th Trade Promotion Organization Network World Conference in Marrakech, Morocco.

Over 200 policymakers, business leaders and representatives of trade and investment promotion organizations from around the world met in the African country on November 24-25.

Representing Iran, head of TPOI Mojtaba Khosrotaj, delivered a speech on the hurdles in the way of entry to goods and services value chains, Mehr News Agency reported. He also held meetings with his counterparts from Switzerland, Spain, Canada, Australia and Malaysia.

ITC is a subsidiary organization of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and provides trade-related technical assistance. It has its headquarters in Geneva and one field office in Mexico City.
