“The event stands out as the first solo Iranian exhibition outside the territory of Iran in the entire western world: a fundamental step in the process of internationalization of the Italian fairs and exhibition industry, a historic event both under the economic and social profiles,” reads a statement by Pietro Piccinetti, the CEO of Fiera Roma Exhibition Center–the venue of the event.

“For the first time, in fact, Iran introduces itself to the Occident, with its ministries, its public and private enterprises and its trade associations outside the country’s territory, in Europe, in Italy, in Rome.”

The event will be shaped in the format of an exhibition, with an expo area of more than 7,000 square meters.

“A B2B high-profile meeting between Iranian and Italian entities includes a thick schedule of social and cultural moments bridging art with cinema and cuisine with music, so that a wider audience may approach the Persian culture and appreciate its fascination and historic allure,” Piccinetti added.
