The website for online census registration will be reopened from 8 a.m. Wednesday until 12 a.m. Thursday for Iranian households that were not responsive to census officers and are considered absent to register in the eighth National Population and Housing Census.

Data from nearly 79.5 million people, or 99.2% of the Iranian population, were collected from across the country by field officers since the beginning of the door-to-door phase of the census on October 19, up until the last day—November 21, according to the head of Statistical Center of Iran, Omid Ali Parsa.

The door-to-door phase, which is the second phase of the National Census after the online registration, ended on November 18.

The online registration in which 11.1 million households, that is almost 37.2 million people accounting for 46.4% of the population participated, began on September 24 and ended on October 21.
