A delegation from the Romania-Iran joint chamber of commerce is on a 4-day visit to Iran. The Romanian delegation will discuss ways to expand trade ties with the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran. The delegation includes representatives from Romania’s urban development, heavy industries, agricultural industries, as well as food, pharmaceutical, oil and petrochemical, and transportation industries. Head of the Iran-Romania Friendship Group at Romanian Parliament, Sorin Rosca Stanescu, said in April that the “ground was paved” for bilateral cooperation in various economic and trade fields amid the emerging positive atmosphere and the progress achieved in nuclear talks between Iran and the Western countries.
