There was a fall in the number of international flights passing through Iran’s airspace over the past month, according to CEO of Iran Airports Company, Rahmatollah Mahabadi. “The number of the flights has decreased to below 1,000 per day,” he was quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency on Friday. The number had recently reached 1,050 flights per day, rising from the 500 registered before the incumbent government took office in August 2013.
