Iran exported 1,200 tons of non-oil goods valued at $6 million to Austria in the first six months of the current Iranian year (started March 20), which indicates a 30% increase in value compared with the similar period of a year before, Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration reported. Food supplements, carpets, molybdenum, raisins, dates, beans, vegetables and handicrafts were among the main exported commodities. More than 58,500 tons of goods worth $81.8 million were imported from the European country during the six-month period–almost unchanged in value compared with last year’s corresponding period. The imports mainly included pharmaceuticals, corn fodder, industrial machinery, paper and livestock.
