Joint Expo With Afghanistan in Herat

A joint exhibition organized by Iran and Afghanistan opened in the western Afghan province of Herat on Tuesday.  Products such as electronics, construction materials, home appliances, food items, cosmetics, printing materials, packaging tools and bird medicines are being displayed in the four-day event, Pajhwok Afghan News reported.
According to Ali Khaksar, organizer of the exhibition, the products of 45 companies from Iran and 15 companies from Herat are on display at the show. The expo was visited by a number of local officials, including Herat Governor Mohammad Asif Rahimi, as well as a delegation from Iran’s northeastern Khorasan Razavi Province, which shares border with Herat.
