Department to Fight Smuggling in Cyberspace

A department tasked with combating smuggling in cyberspace will be launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Intelligence and Cyber Police of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Habibollah Haqiqi, the head of the Headquarters for Combating the Smuggling of Commodities and Foreign Exchange, was quoted as saying by IRNA. About $15.5 billion worth of goods were smuggled into and out of Iran in the last Iranian year (March 2015-16), registering a 27.7% decrease compared to the previous year.
