A conference on investment opportunities in the western province of Lorestan will be held in Dubai in the coming weeks, Chairman of Khorramabad Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Hossein Salahvarzi announced Saturday. According to IRNA, the event is aimed at introducing economic potentials and new investment opportunities in the resource-rich Iranian province. The conference, which will explore avenues for trade in the fields of mining, agriculture, and tourism among others will kick off in Emirati city on December 6. Salahvarzi further remarked that on the sidelines of the conference Lorestan products will be exhibited and industrialist and tradesmen of Lorestan who produce exportable commodities will hold talks with the UAE businessmen in a bid to develop non-oil exports.
