The southern Kish Island is scheduled to host the Eighth International Iran Air Show from November 16 to 19.
Domestic companies and international firms from European and Asian countries, including Germany, Italy, Russia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Poland and Ukraine, will participate in the upcoming event, according to the director of Public Relations Department at Iran Civil Aviation Organization, Reza Jafarzadeh, IRNA reported.
“This event represents a significant business opportunity for leading international companies who wish to invest in a multibillion dollar market,” reads a notice posted in Iran Air Show’s website (http://iranairshow.com/).
“It is vital to note the importance of this years’ air show, as it will be the first time global companies are attending since the implementation of JCPOA signed between P5+1 countries and Iran in July 2015. Global companies looking to attend this event can look forward to forging positive yielding partnerships in the much-anticipated market with the largest economy in the Middle East and North Africa region,” it added.
The first edition of Iran Air Show was held in 2002.
The event will feature two conferences known as Presumptive Aviation Leadership Summit and the Iran Five-Year Business Projection Conference.
